I had to read it twice.

Because the number didn’t make sense the first time.

A recent study revealed that the median amount American workers have saved for retirement is just $955.

Not $95,000.
Not $9,500.

Nine hundred and fifty-five dollars.

Unbelievable… yet somehow believable.

Because I see it every day — hardworking, intelligent people doing their best, but without a clear retirement strategy. Many are relying on Social Security, hoping their 401(k) will be enough, or simply pushing the conversation off for “later.”

But later has a way of showing up.

Here’s what most people don’t realize:

There are financial tools available — when structured properly — that can help you build retirement income intentionally and tax-efficiently. Tools like permanent life insurance and annuities aren’t just about protection. They can be used to:

  • Build cash value over time
  • Create supplemental retirement income
  • Reduce future tax exposure
  • Provide protection while you’re building

Retirement shouldn’t be built on hope.
It should be built on strategy.

And strategy looks different depending on the season you’re in — whether you’re building a business, raising children, caring for parents, or preparing for your next chapter.

If you’re not sure what your retirement plan truly looks like, let’s change that.

Your future deserves more than assumptions.
It deserves intention.
It deserves a plan.

If you’re unsure what your retirement picture truly looks like, it may be time for a deeper conversation.

Let’s make sure you’re not part of that statistic.
