Are You Carrying More Than You Should?
Can I ask you – what load are you carrying?
I’m not just talking about your to-do list (although that might be pretty long). I mean the mental, emotional, and spiritual loads we all carry—stress, worries, expectations, responsibilities. Sometimes, we pick up more than we should, and by the end of the week, we’re exhausted.
The good news? You don’t have to carry it all alone.
The Bible reminds us:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
God didn’t design us to carry everything on our own. In business, life, and relationships, we need to learn when to release, delegate, and trust—whether that means asking for help, setting boundaries, or simply giving yourself grace.
Here’s a challenge:
💡 Pause and check your load – What’s truly yours to carry, and what are you holding onto that you should let go of?
🙌 Delegate where you can – Whether in business or life, you don’t have to do everything. Ask for help, outsource tasks, or lean on your support system.
☁️ Give your worries to God – Pray, breathe, and trust that He’s got you covered. Everything doesn’t have to be figured out today.
So before you take on the week, take a moment to lighten your load. You’ll be surprised at how much more peace, clarity, and energy you’ll have when you stop carrying things that aren’t meant for you.
What’s one thing you’re letting go of this week? Leave a comment below —I’d love to hear!
